    Day 1

    Depart the USA for your overnight flight to Edinburgh, Scotland.

    Day 2

    Arrive in Edinburgh where you are met and assisted to your coach for an orientation tour of Edinburgh, approx. 4 hours, before transferring to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (D)

    Day 3

    Full day tour of Edinburgh of Edinburgh. The route will take you past the Scottish Parliament, the Museum of Scotland, the Royal Mile, Georgian New Town and Princes Street. Also included is a visit to Edinburgh Castle where you can see the Crown Room, St. Margaret's Chapel, and much more! Afternoon visit to Holyrood House, the official residence of the Royal Family in Scotland, before returning to hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

    Day 4

    Day at leisure to enjoy the Scottish capital. Shop for traditional handicrafts and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this elegant city, known for its arts and military festivals. Catch one of the many museums or, join the optional morning tour to the former Royal Yacht Britannia. Learn about life aboard this elegant ship which has seen so many historic occasions. Continue to Holyrood House, official residence of the royal family in Scotland; see the State Apartments, Throne Room and priceless collection of tapestries and paintings Dinner on your own this evening. (B)

    Day 5

    Sightseeing begins in the town of St Andrews, renowned for its famous golf course and the University where Prince William studied. Continue to Glamis Castle, childhood home of the Queen-Mother; visit this well-preserved ancient Scottish castle with its literary connections to Shakespeare's Macbeth. Despite local legends of mysterious monsters and ghosts, the castle is still home to the Lyon family. Continue north via Aviemore to Inverness for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

    Day 6

    Morning visit to site of the famous Culloden Battlefield where the Jacobite forces faced the British army in 1746. This battle marked the decisive collapse of the Jacobite uprising and the end of the Clans. A Visitor's Center has been established to help in the preservation of the battlefield and educate visitors about the battle through films and exhibitions. Next, tour a whisky distillery and enjoy a tasting. DESSIE: Want to insert maybe a visit to a castle or abbey. not sure but will definitely do some additional sightseeing this afternoon. Probably overnight again in Inverness. (B, D)

    Day 7

    Today, drive to one of the most famous sites in all of Scotland, Loch Ness. Take a short cruise on the lake to Urquhart Castle and try to spot the elusive Nessie in the largest lake in Scotland. The tour continues via the scenic mountains to Glencoe. Touring today ends in the seaside town of Oban for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

    Day 8

    Drive along the shores of Lake Lomond to Inveraray Castle, home of the Duke of Argyll. Continue on to afternoon arrival into Glasgow. Orientation tour of the city before checking into your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

    Day 9

    Begin the day with a visit to Stirling Castle, one of the largest and most important castles in Scotland. Then view the impressive “Kelpies”, the world's largest equine sculptures and Scotland's latest iconic landmark rising majestically over the Forth & Clyde Canal. Return to Glasgow in the late afternoon. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner tonight. (B, D)

    Day 10

    Transfer to the airport for your departure flight from Glasgow arriving back in the USA the same day. (B)
