Day 1 - New York, NY. Depart USA for Europe. Breakfast and dinner will be served on the flight.

Day 2 - Vienna. Upon arrival at Vienna Airport we will be met by our tour escort and European motor coach and transferred to our hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure for independent activities, dinner and overnight at our hotel. (D)

Day 3 - Vienna. Our morning sightseeing tour will include monuments to the great musicians of this Imperial City. We will also see intricately carved St. Stephens Spire, the Imperial Hofburg Palace, Opera House and the National Museums; a highlight will be a visit to explore the wonders of the Habsburg summer residence Schoenbrunn Palace. The afternoon is at leisure for independent activities, dinner and overnight at our hotel. (B,D)

Day 4 - Salzburg. We drive today along the Danube past imposing Melk Abbey and stop in Innsbruck (home of, not one but two, Winter Olympic Games) on our way to the city of Salzburg. Salzburg, the setting for the famed music festival and the beloved movie the "Sound of Music," rests in the Alpine foothills. Our afternoon sightseeing tour here will include the Cathedral, the pedestrian shopping street, Getreidegasse, imposing Hohen-salzburg Fortress and the sparkling Mirabel Palace. A visit will also be made to the birthplace of Salzburg's favorite son the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Dinner and overnight at our hotel. (B,D)

Day 5 - Oberammergau. Breathtaking scenery awaits us today as we drive across Austria and through charming resort villages. Drive through the Bavarian Alps via the winter sports resorts of Seefeld and Garmisch Partenkirchen and on to our destination of the charming small village of Oberammergau. (B,D)

Day 6 - Oberammergau. The entire day is spent attending a performance of the world famous Passion Play, performed once every ten years in this beautiful hamlet. (B,D)

Day 7 - New York, NY. Transfer to the airport for our flight home. The end of an unforgettable journey (B)
