Dear Friends: Israel is at the center of the world. Much of history revolves around this tiny Nation in the Mideast. That's why traveling on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land is something everyone should experience. This will be the seventh journey for Vangie and me, departing on March 27, 2017, and we are as excited as ever to be going again. This time we want you to join us! You will be thrilled as you walk the streets of Tiberias, sail the Sea of Galilee, travel the roads to Jerusalem as Jesus and His Disciples did over two thousand years ago. Our stop at the newly created village of old Nazareth is a highlight of the trip. The days we spend in Jerusalem will bring many of the Bible stories to life in your imagination. We will walk into the empty tomb and then share Holy Communion together in the Garden. We will spend time in the Holocaust museum, the historic sites of Jesus' birth, life, death, and spend time shopping along the Via Dolorosa. After the week in Israel, you can either return to the USA or take the Rome extension to beautiful Rome, Italy. Rome's history and beauty are unsurpassed. We will visit the Coliseum, the Catacombs, and the Vatican. Our time in Rome will be unforgettable, and you will have some time for a unique shopping experience. How do I describe the food in Italy! This part of our journey will cap off unforgettable days together. Vangie and I want this to be the “trip of a lifetime,” for you, your family and friends who will join us. We travel in deluxe buses, stay at superior fi rst class hotels, and have incredible guides to lead and explain the sites and sounds to us. The Prophets, Jesus, and the Apostles walked where we will walk. Come, and make this journey with us.
    Pastor & Vangie Mercaldo
